Brandon Boyd, FeedStories Co-Founder

Brandon Boyd has been involved in creative design and direct marketing for over 20 years. Leveraging creative design skill to drive marketing campaigns and branding efforts, his influence has been felt in several different industries including retail space leasing and management, transportation, health insurance, higher education, medical associations and publishing.

In the mid-90s, he expanded his skills from print design to web design and development for building effective crossmedia direct marketing campaigns. He became responsible for training retail marketing managers on how to build online and off-line marketing campaigns that brought in customers, as well as providing creative support for their respective retail facilities.

Meeting the demands of the changing media terrain, Boyd added corporate and direct response copywriting to his repertoire and continued to develop marketing funnels that combined direct mail, personalized websites, landing pages, radio advertising, pay per click and banner advertising. In one of his most successful marketing campaigns for Western State College of Colorado, Brandon was able to increase the number of new student applications by 25% within a 12 month period, increasing enrollment and expanding awareness of Western State College exponentially.

A self-proclaimed marketing and creative pragmatist, Brandon is a believer in relentless testing and tracking of response to any given marketing campaign, and believes wholeheartedly in “letting the market vote” on the message, design and media in regard to what works and what doesn’t.

In addition to his corporate and nonprofit experience, Brandon has consulted for many different niches and industries including real estate, automotive, outdoor, environmental, nonprofits, coaching, chiropractic and many others. He has acted spoken for the Colorado Small Business Development Center, served as an advisor for the Gunnison Crested Butte Tourism Association, and was often called upon to teach and lead classroom discussions on graphic design, marketing, and PR for Western State College of Colorado.

Brandon continues to provide creative direction, copywriting, and marketing strategy for online and offline direct and brand marketing campaigns. His client list includes: the American Medical Association, Harris Bank, The Skilling Institute, Ardmore Associates, The American Society for Clinical Nutrition, Metra Rail, and many others.

Brandon currently lives in Colorado with his family of four. He greatly enjoys traveling and anything that involves the outdoors including kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking and hiking. He also trains frequently in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with his two sons.
